Mesotherapy
Mesotherapy is a technique that allows active ingredients to be injected under the skin. It is not a form of alternative medicine. It simply involves depositing droplets of medicine under the skin. Its main advantage is that fact that a localised effect can be obtained without toxicity for other organs and without drug interactions. In aesthetic medicine, mesotherapy can treat:
- Skin ageing, by injecting a cocktail of vitamins and hyaluronic acid.
- Cellulite, by injecting drugs that release the fat and tone the muscles.
- Hair loss, by injecting the vitamins and trace elements necessary for hair regrowth.
There are no contraindications other than pregnancy. The course of treatment consists of one session every 10 days for 4 to 6 weeks, then boosters every 6 to 8 weeks.
