Superficial peels

Superficial peels are effective and safe.
Considered the least aggressive peel, AHA (alpha hydroxy acid) peels are also known as “lunchtime peels” because they do not cause any inconveniences.
The main ingredient is glycolic acid, a sugar cane extract, and several acids derived from fruits or plants. This treatment eliminates dead cells and activates collagen production. It is a quick operation without significant after-effects, even though the skin is slightly pink afterwards. The complexion is more radiant and some fine wrinkles will disappear.
A milder peel, it also acts on the skin's surface.

Glycolic acid decreases the thickness of the skin's stratum corneum (the outermost layer of the epidermis).
Pigment-altering active ingredients and powerful antioxidant vitamins can be used in association with glycolic acid to optimise the peel action. We recommend that you use a sunscreen (SPF 30) in the week following the peel.
